Detailed specifications

Suitable uses

For nail trimming during home pedicures, professional foot-care routines and chiropody or podiatry workflows. The robust jaws are intended for thick and hard toenails. Do not use the instrument to treat an ingrown or infected nail yourself; obtain appropriate professional advice.

Care and safety

• Soften nails appropriately before trimming if needed. Cut gradually using light, controlled pressure; avoid cutting nails excessively short.
• Keep the sharp tips away from skin and do not force the cutting jaws against material they cannot cut cleanly.
• Clean and dry the instrument after use. Inspect the jaws and spring before reuse, and store in a dry, protected place.
• The tool is listed as autoclavable; professional users should validate the cleaning and sterilisation cycle against the manufacturer's instructions and their local infection-control requirements.
• People with diabetes, poor circulation, reduced foot sensation or painful or infected nails should seek advice from a qualified foot-care professional before trimming.
• Sharp instrument; keep away from children.
